Ahmet Sungur
Ahmet Sungur, born in 1984 in Bursa, is a professional advertising photographer who enjoys producing photos that contain elements of life. After graduating from the Printing Department at Eskişehir Anadolu University, he worked in the advertising industry for many years, striving to specialize in color and printing.
While working in the advertising sector, he continued to advance in photography by attending a seminar from BUFSAD (Bursa Photography Art Association) in 2006. He worked with various photography groups, producing projects and exhibitions. In 2015, he began teaching advertising and fashion photography at Faruk Saraç Vocational School of Design. Between 2016 and 2020, he worked as the education and event coordinator at Fujifilm Turkey. He currently continues his work as an advertising photographer.
Years after receiving a photography seminar at BUFSAD, he became the education coordinator of the same association and served on its board for eight years. In his teachings, Ahmet Sungur emphasizes breaking the rules of photography after learning them. After producing photos with a strong aesthetic focus for some time, he shifted towards street and portrait photography. In his quest to capture images with a message, he always sought a life element in his photos. Currently, he is working on street and portrait photography, as well as conceptual photography projects.
