Alper Gülersönmez

Alper Gülersönmez, born in Adana in 1982 and residing in Bursa, is a photographer and writer.

I graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics, International Relations Department in 2021 and from Trakya University, Electronics Department in 2001. I currently work as a cashier at the Central Bank and am actively involved in photography. I started photography in 2019 with basic training at Fujifilm and have been focusing on documentary and street photography for the past five years. During this time, I have developed various documentary projects and continue to work on new ones. My photographic style includes focusing on capturing "the moment," symmetry, and composition, and occasionally using different perspectives to achieve unique images. My goal in photography is to document life in a way that prevents it from fading away over time.

I serve as a photography instructor at Bursa Photo Art and Cinema Association (Bufsad) and am an active member of Fotogen, Çofsat, and Aralık Mag.. At Aralık Mag., I play a significant role as both a columnist and a blog writer, where I share my views and analyses on photography. The title of my column is "From the Depths of Time." Additionally, I have received awards in several photography competitions, including the 18th Sami Güner Cup, and my works have been exhibited in photography shows.
