Erdem Varol
Photographer. He stays alive by walking, taking photographs, drawing, and writing. Going beyond just moments compressed through visuals and layers of texts, he invites his viewers to see his works as documents that hold clues into his perception, muscle memory, and errors.
With a special interest in printed publications, the artist has published four artist books since 2017, and his photographs have been featured in two collective artist books. Among their publications are Dolana Dolaşa (Onagöre, 2021), Sanayi Mahallesi (2018), Serbest Düşüş (2017) and Almost Red (2017), while his collective works have been published under titles such as F: Fotokopi Yayın Projesi (2020) and Aralık IV (2019).
