Murat Aslan, born in Kocaeli in 1985, graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Public Administration. Aslan, living in Bursa, continues his academic career in the field of Sociology. Aslan, who describes himself as an amateur photographer, aims to discover the unfinished and incomplete aspects of human life, social structure and environmental transformations with his long-term documentary photography project, which he named "Buçuk" and centered on this concept. With this project, he focused on revealing the invisible faces of social events, documenting the inequalities between social classes, individuals in search of identity, and lives stuck between cultural transitions.
