Born in Eskişehir. Received his undergraduate education at Ankara University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism. He completed his master's degree at Dokuz Eylul University, Institute of Fine Arts, Department of Photography and his PhD at Maltepe University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Communication Sciences. His works have been exhibited in national and international solo and group exhibitions. Şen, who received the "Press Photo of the Year" and "Environmental Photo of the Year" awards in 2020, currently works as a faculty member at Van Yuzuncu Yil University, Faculty of Fine Arts.
