Serap Baykal Özkan
Born in Berlin in 1972 she completed her primary, middle and high school education at İzmir Özel Türk Koleji . After continuing Language programs at Free University of Berlin (FU) , she moved to Bursa in 1992 upon getting married. She was introduced to photography in 2010 through BUFSAD (Bursa Photography Art Association ) and between 2013-2018 her works have been published in two Collective exhibitions and shows at Osman Önder Photography Workshop published two books named "Frame" and "Glas" and won the Sami Güner Cup.
She achieved success with her personal show "LÂL" in 2019 she took part in the collective exhibition "After" with the Vizör Group Bursa, and in 2023 she was featured in the conceptual photography exhibition "Torn" . She participated in Bursa İnternational Photography Festival between 2021-2023 with two group projects "Psycovid" and "Dilemma".
In 2023 , she showcased her work at the China International Localized Image Festival with the exhibition "Traces of Craft in Bursa " which was a project by BUFSAD's Women Photographers group.
She continues her work with Vizör Photography group and BUFSAD.
